When I first visited The Videre Estate, I instantly knew that I wanted to design something gorgeous that really stood out against the natural beauty. The venue is located in the rolling hills along a cliffside overlooking a lake, with perfect views of a Texas sunset.

Need I say more? The florals chosen needed to be bold enough to shine in front of the green and blue landscape, but balanced to fit our spring season. I envisioned a reception to take place outside because the views were just too perfect. In order to let those flowers pop, I selected a simple, light tablecloth and paired it with elegant drinkware and tableware, along with a rattan charger as a nod to the hill country vibe.

Even the bees were in love with our designs as they fluttered around our succulent flowers. Although the outdoor space was the primary focus, I knew I wanted to showcase an interior design by featuring a floral installation at the fireplace, an icon in this stunning venue. Lastly, and my favorite, the ceremony setting. The Videre Estate is known for its ceremony terrace overlooking the lake below so what better than to use this terrace and stage our altar along the corner so that our couple could say their “I do’s” in a crescent shaped floral installation that engulfed them in nature and beauty.
